The Tetons are steep and jagged mountains, located near the town of Jackson, Wyoming. The Tetons are well known for mountaineering, steep skiing, and cowboy country. The Grand Teton National Park is located at the base of the Tetons, just minutes away from the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Yellowstone National Park is another beautiful park, located approximately 1 hour Northeast of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Jackson is the closest town to Teton Village, which is located at the base of the Jackson Hole Ski Resort.

The resort is located 12 miles northwest of the town of Jackson. While Jackson has some wonderful intermediate terrain, this is known as the steep and deep playground for expert skiers. Jackson has it all, from expansive bowl to narrow chute skiing. Jackson also has a wonderful open backcountry gate system with over 3000 acres of terrain, which is easily accessible for ski touring.
