Dan has been living in the Wasatch Range of Utah for the past 20 years and has been exploring it's fantastic terrain ever since 1991 when he first moved to the Salt Lake City area.
Dan has his Level I and Level II Avalanche Safety training certificates from the American Avalanche Institute and his Level III Avalanche Safety Certification from Swiss Rock Guides.
He has completed his American Mountain Guides Association Ski Guides and Ski Mountaineering Courses, is a current member of the AMGA, and has been an avalanche field observer with the Utah Avalanche Forecast Center for the past 4 years. He has also completed the Outdoor Emergency Care first aid course and updates his CPR / Community First Aid Courses annually.
Through his 23 years experience of backcountry skiing, seven years of professional ski guiding with EXUM Utah Mountain Adventures in the Wasatch, 9 years of guiding in the Andes of Chile & Argentina (6 of those seasons with Endless Turns), Dan has gained an intimate knowledge of some of the most spectacular ski terrain in the world.
With Endless Turns, Dan would like to share all of his special runs (well, maybe not all of them....) with you, whether they are in the the Wasatch of Utah, the Andes of South America, or the European Alps. Endless Turns will take you to these spectacular locations and leave memories that will last a lifetime. Traveling with Dan and Endless Turns is not just about the skiing/snowboarding experiences, it is about getting to know the local people, their customs & traditions, learning new languages, eating wonderful cuisine, drinking fine wines, and discovering the amazing history behind each country.
Our primary focus (but not the only) is to provide you with one of the greatest skiing/snowboarding experinces you have ever had, but in the safest manner possible. At Endless Turns, we are firm believers in living to ski another day and will use our best judgement to give you the best possible line on any given day according to the current snow stability. So come join us for a trip around the globe in search of those " ENDLESS TURNS".
Remember, here at Endless Turns we don't stop riding because the seasons change, we just change hemispheres to keep it going year round!
