Topic: Great Corn Conditions-April 21, 2009
Corn conditions were ideal last week in the Wasatch, just about as buttery as they get. Early starts were important, as the snow became elephant snot by about 11 AM. The Toledo Chute and Flagstaff Ridge were in perfect form, starting with the East facing, then moving towards the South, and finally to the West facing slopes. The steep pitches were really fun, as the corn cascaded down behind you, like you were slicing through big fields of butter.... Check out the pics to see all the fun!
